Invictus Launch Week 2954 is drawing to a close, but there's still time to experience the excitement at Area18 on ArcCorp. The annual aerospace expo has seen record-breaking attendance this year as citizens from across the UEE flocked to the Bevic Convention Center to view the latest military and civilian spacecraft on display.

For those who haven't had a chance to visit yet, free ship rentals are still available for a limited time. This is a great opportunity to test fly some of the most advanced vessels in the 'verse before the expo ends. Additionally, there's only one day left to submit entries for the "I'm Doing My Part" video contest, so aspiring filmmakers should get their final edits in soon.

Behind the scenes, development continues on Alpha 3.23.2, which will introduce the highly anticipated Persistent Hangars feature along with improvements to freight elevators. The team hopes to begin Evocati testing later this week as they prepare this important update for the Persistent Universe.

Here's what else is happening this week:

Tuesday, May 28th

  • The latest Galactapedia update will be released, expanding the lore and background of the Star Citizen universe.

Wednesday, May 29th

  • The Roadmap will be updated, primarily to reflect recent vehicle releases and launched features. A more comprehensive Progress Tracker update is planned for the near future.

Friday, May 31st

  • Look for the weekly RSI newsletter to arrive in your inbox with the latest Star Citizen news and updates.

The Inside Star Citizen and Star Citizen Live shows are currently on a brief hiatus as the team prepares for the next season of content. Star Citizen Live will return next week, while Inside Star Citizen is scheduled to resume on June 20th.

Community Spotlight

This week's MVP goes to the creators of "We Were Wanderers from the Beginning", an impressive fan-made recreation of the short film "Wanderers" set in the Star Citizen universe. This collaborative project brought together content creators from around the world to produce one of the most ambitious community videos to date. You can watch the full video on the Community Hub.

Other top Community Hub submissions this week include stunning images from Invictus Launch Week, dramatic ship battles, and creative illustrations of new concept vehicles. The passion and talent of the Star Citizen community continues to shine through these incredible creations.

That's all for this week's update. We look forward to seeing you in the 'verse!

A 30K Adventure in Stanton

As the Invictus Launch Week 2954 drew to a close, Captain Zara found herself piloting her trusty Avenger Titan through the bustling airspace of ArcCorp. She was on a mission to meet up with her crew at Area18, where they planned to take advantage of the free ship rentals before time ran out.

"Hey Zara, have you heard about the Star Citizen Referral Code Club?" her co-pilot, Jake, asked as they approached the spaceport.

"You mean that group that helps new players get started?" Zara replied, deftly maneuvering around a massive Hull C transport.

Jake nodded. "Yeah, I heard they're all about having fun even when things go wrong. Like those pesky 30K errors we keep running into."

As if on cue, their ship's systems began to flicker. "Oh no, not again!" Zara groaned, frantically tapping at her control panel.

Suddenly, everything went dark. When the lights came back on, they found themselves inexplicably orbiting Hurston.

"Well, looks like we just got 30K'd," Jake chuckled. "What do you say we make the best of it and check out some of the new RSI Referral Code Club hangouts while we're here?"

Zara grinned, already plotting a course. "Why not? I hear they've got some great tips on what code to use for new players too."

As they cruised towards Lorville, Jake pulled up the org's info on his MobiGlas. "You know, The Star Citizen Referral Code Club really seems to embody that 'glass half full' mentality. Even with all the alpha quirks, they're all about making the most of our time in the 'verse."

Zara nodded in agreement. "That's the spirit we need out here in Stanton. Now, let's see if we can make it planetside without another 30K!"

As they descended through Hurston's atmosphere, both friends laughed, ready for whatever adventures – or misadventures – awaited them in the ever-evolving world of Star Citizen.
