Star Citizen April 2026 Subscriber Promotions: Contractor's Kit and Law Enforcement Vehicles
Following the recent launch of Alpha 4.7: Welcome to the Rock, Star Citizen subscribers have plenty to look forward to this April 2026. Cloud Imperium Games has announced the monthly subscriber promotions, featuring a professional assassin-themed flair collection and two law enforcement-focused vehicles of the month.
April's Subscriber Flair: The Contractor's Kit
This month's subscriber rewards embrace a darker, more professional aesthetic perfect for those who operate in the shadowy corners of the verse. The theme centers around discrete professional work, whether on the right side of the law or not.
CC's Conversions Azrael 'Sapphire' Helmet
Centurion-level subscribers will receive the striking Azrael helmet from CC's Conversions. This unique piece of equipment features a distinctive skull design that peers out from beneath the visor, transforming an otherwise ordinary-looking flight helmet into something far more intimidating. The design philosophy acknowledges that pilots routinely face death in the dangerous reaches of space, and now they can literally embody that grim reality with their headgear.
PSX Pistol Case
Imperator-level subscribers receive both the Azrael helmet and the PSX Pistol Case, a sleek carrying solution designed for discrete professionals. The case features a hard outer shell with an interior lined with special rigid polyurethane foam, engineered to securely hold various pistol attachments. The package comes complete with a Behring S-38 Pistol and accessories, providing subscribers with a ready-to-deploy sidearm solution.
Complete Contractor's Kit
For subscribers who want the complete package, the Contractor's Kit bundle combines both the Azrael 'Sapphire' Helmet and the PSX Pistol Case. This comprehensive set is available for purchase in the Subscriber-Exclusive Store, allowing all subscribers to acquire the full professional loadout regardless of their subscription tier.
As with all subscriber flair items, Cloud Imperium Games maintains their policy of making most items earnable in-game after a three-month exclusivity window, ensuring that subscriber perks remain special without permanently locking content away from the broader player base.
Vehicles of the Month: Law Enforcement Specialists
April's vehicle selection focuses squarely on law enforcement and bounty hunting, offering subscribers the opportunity to test out two ships designed for bringing criminals to justice.
Anvil Hawk
Centurion subscribers gain access to the Anvil Hawk with twelve-month insurance. This compact fighter proves that size isn't everything when it comes to combat effectiveness. The Hawk boasts an impressive array of both lethal and non-lethal weaponry systems, making it exceptionally versatile for various mission profiles.
The ship's armament includes traditional laser weapons for lethal engagements, distortion cannons for disabling targets without destruction, and an electromagnetic pulse generator for shutting down enemy systems. This combination allows pilots to adapt their approach based on whether they need to eliminate threats or capture them alive, making the Hawk an ideal choice for bounty hunters who want maximum flexibility in the field.
Drake Cutlass Blue
Imperator subscribers receive both the Anvil Hawk and the Drake Cutlass Blue, with the latter featuring twenty-four-month insurance. The Cutlass Blue represents Drake Interplanetary's purpose-built law enforcement variant of their popular Cutlass platform.
What sets the Blue apart from its siblings is the integrated quantum dampener, allowing it to interdict fleeing criminals and prevent their escape. Combined with heavy weaponry loadouts, the ship is specifically designed for apprehending dangerous criminals. The vessel maintains the Cutlass line's reputation for durability and reliability, ensuring it can withstand the rigors of law enforcement work. Adding to its authentic law enforcement aesthetic, the Cutlass Blue features a distinctive flashing blue light mounted on top, ensuring everyone knows when the space police have arrived.
As with all vehicles of the month, subscribers can fly these ships in-game throughout April to test their capabilities. Additionally, subscribers have the option to purchase these vehicles with extended insurance if they decide to add them permanently to their fleet.
Additional Subscriber Benefits
Beyond the monthly flair and vehicle offerings, Star Citizen subscribers continue to enjoy several ongoing perks throughout April and beyond.
Merchandise Store Discounts
All subscribers receive continuous discounts on official Star Citizen merchandise. Centurion-level subscribers enjoy a ten percent discount, while Imperator-level subscribers receive a fifteen percent discount on all merchandise purchases. This benefit allows supporters to expand their real-world Star Citizen collection at reduced prices.
Subscriber Store Access
The dedicated Subscriber Store provides access to all previous flair items dating back to 2014. This allows subscribers to fill gaps in their collections, acquire store-exclusive items, or purchase extras to gift to non-subscribers through the My Hangar section of their RSI profile. The comprehensive catalog ensures that newer subscribers aren't permanently locked out of older cosmetic items.
How to Participate
Players interested in receiving April's flair as part of their subscription benefits must subscribe before April 14, 2026, at 20:00 UTC. Those who miss this deadline or prefer not to maintain an ongoing subscription can still acquire current and previous months' flair through the Subscriber Store.
The April 2026 subscriber promotions arrive at an exciting time for Star Citizen, with the community still exploring the new content introduced in Alpha 4.7. The month also brings the Captains of Industry event and a Free Fly opportunity, giving both subscribers and potential new players plenty of reasons to explore the ever-expanding universe.
With its focus on professional equipment and law enforcement vessels, April's subscriber content caters to players who enjoy bounty hunting, security work, and the grittier aspects of life among the stars. Whether patrolling trade lanes in a Cutlass Blue or hunting high-value targets in a nimble Hawk, subscribers have the tools they need to maintain order—or profitable chaos—throughout the verse.
When the Blue Lights Flicker
The comm channel crackled to life as Commander Vex's voice cut through the static. "Alright 30KFUN, we've got a situation. Three new citizens just loaded into Port Olisar with starter ships, and there's a notorious pirate gang camping the station exit. Who's ready to teach some lessons today?"
"Both kinds of lessons?" asked Phantom, her Anvil Hawk already powering up in the hangar bay.
"The best kind—how to survive the verse, and how to deal with griefers," Vex confirmed.
Within minutes, six 30KFUN veterans had assembled their impromptu fleet. Phantom in her Hawk, Vex commanding a Drake Cutlass Blue complete with its distinctive flashing blue light, and four others in various combat-ready ships. The new players—callsigns Rookie, Sparrow, and Glitch—waited nervously in the station's safe zone.
"Welcome to Star Citizen," Vex transmitted to the newcomers on a private channel. "First lesson: you're never alone out here. We've got your backs."
"Is that a police ship?" Rookie asked, clearly awed by the Cutlass Blue's imposing presence.
"Used to be. Now it's a teaching tool," Vex chuckled. "Phantom, you want to demonstrate the Hawk's non-lethal loadout?"
"With pleasure."
The fleet launched together, the three starter Auroras tucked protectively in the middle of the formation. Sure enough, two Cutlass Blacks prowled just outside Port Olisar's armistice zone, their pilots clearly hunting easy prey.
"New plan," Vex announced. "Rookies, quantum jump to Crusader on my mark. We'll handle the welcoming committee."
The pirates took the bait immediately, breaking formation to pursue the fleeing Auroras. They didn't notice Phantom's Hawk until her distortion cannons lit up the void, cascading blue energy across the lead pirate's shields. The ship's systems flickered and died, leaving it drifting helplessly.
Vex's Cutlass Blue activated its quantum dampener, and suddenly the second pirate found himself unable to jump away. "Surprise," Vex said flatly. "You're under citizen's arrest for being a jerk."
The brief engagement ended with both pirates either disabled or fleeing. The 30KFUN fleet regrouped around the grateful newcomers.
"That was incredible!" Sparrow exclaimed. "Can you teach us to fly like that?"
"That's literally why we're here," Phantom replied. "But first, let's run a simple bounty mission together. We'll show you the ropes."
They'd barely set course for Crusader when Glitch's ship suddenly exploded for no apparent reason.
A moment of silence filled the comm channel before Vex burst out laughing. "Ah yes, welcome to alpha! That's what we call a 'spontaneous unscheduled disassembly.' Glitch, respawn at Port Olisar and we'll swing back to get you."
"Is... is that normal?" Glitch asked, bewildered.
"Completely," Phantom assured him. "We've got a whole section on our website about working around bugs. Rule one: always laugh. Rule two: always help each other out when the verse decides to be weird."
As they circled back for Glitch, Rookie's voice came through hesitantly. "So, uh, I just got a mission offer for a 30K bounty. Is that good?"
The entire 30KFUN fleet erupted in laughter.
"Oh, the irony," Vex wheezed. "Kid, let me tell you about where our community got its name. See, there's this error code..."
"30000," Phantom continued, "that disconnects everyone from the server. Happened so much we named ourselves after it. If you can laugh at a 30K error, you can laugh at anything in this game."
They successfully retrieved Glitch and proceeded to run a series of simple bounty missions, with the veterans providing real-time coaching. Phantom demonstrated the Hawk's versatility, switching between lethal and non-lethal weapons depending on the target. Vex showed off the Cutlass Blue's quantum dampener, preventing a bounty target from escaping.
"The key is positioning," Vex explained as he maneuvered to block the target's escape vector. "See how I'm staying between him and his quantum jump point? That's basic interdiction tactics."
Sparrow tried to replicate the maneuver in her Aurora and accidentally rammed the bounty target instead, destroying both ships.
After a moment of stunned silence, Sparrow's small voice came through: "I'm so sorry..."
"Are you kidding?" Phantom responded. "That was hilarious! And technically effective. We call that the 'Aurora Ramming Speed' technique. Not recommended, but memorable."
The laughter on the channel was infectious, and soon even Sparrow was giggling at her own mistake.
They'd just finished the third bounty mission when the dreaded words appeared on everyone's screens: "Connection to server lost. Error 30000."
"THERE IT IS!" Vex shouted triumphantly. "You're officially initiated now! Everyone got 30K'd!"
"Do we lose everything?" Rookie asked nervously as they all logged back in.
"Nah, the game's pretty good about persistence now," Phantom assured him. "Might lose a few things, but that's why we teach you not to get too attached to cargo until you've sold it."
As they all reconnected and regrouped once again at Port Olisar, Vex transmitted a fleet-wide message: "Alright 30KFUN, I'd call this training session a success. We survived pirates, bugs, ramming speed, and a 30K. That's a full Star Citizen experience right there."
"Can we do this again tomorrow?" Glitch asked eagerly.
"That's what we do," Phantom replied warmly. "Every day, helping new citizens learn the ropes and having fun despite the chaos. Check our website for the training schedule—we've got guides for everything, and they're all screen-reader friendly too, so everyone can learn."
"Plus," Vex added, "next week we're organizing a community event. Full fleet operations, capital ship escorts, the works. You three are invited."
"Even after I destroyed my ship by ramming?" Sparrow asked.
"ESPECIALLY because you destroyed your ship by ramming," Vex laughed. "You'll fit right in with us. 30KFUN isn't about being perfect—it's about having fun, helping each other, and laughing when the universe inevitably glitches out."
As the fleet dispersed for the evening, Rookie sent a private message to Vex: "Thanks for this. I was about to refund the game after getting killed three times at Port Olisar."
"That's exactly why we do this," Vex replied. "The verse is big, buggy, and sometimes brutal. But with the right people, it's the best gaming experience you'll ever have. Welcome to 30KFUN, citizen. See you in the black."
The Cutlass Blue's distinctive blue light flashed one final time as Vex departed, a beacon of hope and camaraderie in the vast darkness of space—bugs, pirates, and 30K errors be damned.
