As the excitement from the recent Ship Showdown settles, Star Citizen fans have a new reason to be thrilled. The upcoming Alpha 4.3.1 content drop promises to unveil previously sealed-off sections of the Onyx facilities, offering intrepid explorers new areas to discover and investigate.

Subscriber Flair: Quirinus Tech 'Daybreaker' Set

To aid subscribers in their exploration of these newly accessible areas, this month's flair items focus on safety and discretion. The star of the show is the matching Quirinus Tech 'Daybreaker' helmet and undersuit combo. This advanced set embodies the cutting-edge look and performance that Quirinus Tech is known for, providing reliable protection while remaining lightweight. The Daybreaker edition features subtle yet striking gold highlights, ensuring you'll look good while staying safe.

In addition to the Daybreaker set, subscribers will receive an intriguing memento straight from the Onyx labs themselves. While details are scarce, this mysterious item is sure to pique the interest of lore enthusiasts and collectors alike.

Vehicle of the Month: Argo ATLS and ATLS GEO

September's Vehicle of the Month spotlight falls on the impressive Argo ATLS (Advanced Transport and Lifting System) series. Centurion-level subscribers will have the opportunity to test-fly the standard ATLS model, while Imperator subscribers get the added bonus of trying out the specialized ATLS GEO variant.

The Argo ATLS is a powersuit designed for heavy lifting operations. Equipped with an integrated tractor beam, it makes lifting massive loads a breeze. Whether you're loading tons of cargo or unloading industrial vessels, the ATLS is an essential tool for any serious hauling operation.

For those with a passion for mining, the ATLS GEO variant takes the standard model and optimizes it for resource extraction. Featuring a jump pack for accessing hard-to-reach locations, an integrated mining laser, and built-in ore storage, the GEO allows miners to strip treacherous rocks with ease and efficiency.

Subscriber Store Updates

The Subscriber Store continues to be a treasure trove for those looking to expand their collection. All previous flair items dating back to 2014 are available for purchase, allowing subscribers to fill gaps in their collections or acquire extras to gift to non-subscriber friends.

It's worth noting that while many flair items eventually become available as rare in-game loot drops, subscribers enjoy a three-month exclusivity window for new items. This gives dedicated supporters a chance to stand out with the latest gear before it potentially becomes accessible to the wider player base.

Merchandise Discounts

Subscribers can also take advantage of ongoing discounts in the Merchandise Store. Centurion-level subscribers enjoy a 10% discount, while Imperator-level subscribers receive a more substantial 15% off. These discounts apply to a wide range of Star Citizen merchandise, including jackets, hoodies, shirts, mugs, hats, mousepads, and stickers.

How to Participate

For those interested in receiving this month's flair items and trying out the Argo ATLS series, there's still time to subscribe. New subscribers have until September 9, 2025 (20:00 UTC) to sign up and receive the September benefits. After this date, the flair items will be available for purchase in the Subscriber Store, but the opportunity to test-fly the vehicles will have passed.

As Alpha 4.3.1 approaches, bringing with it new areas to explore and challenges to overcome, these subscriber perks offer an excellent way to prepare for the adventures ahead. Whether you're gearing up with the Daybreaker set for covert operations or planning to test the limits of the ATLS in heavy lifting scenarios, September's offerings provide something for every type of Star Citizen enthusiast.

Daybreakers of Onyx Station

"Server disconnect in 3...2...1..." Captain Lena's voice crackled through the comms as the familiar warning signs flashed across everyone's HUDs.

"Not again!" groaned Max, frantically trying to secure the mysterious artifact they'd recovered from the newly unsealed section of Onyx Station. "This is the third 30K today!"

"Welcome to Star Citizen," laughed Vega, the 30KFUN org's resident mining expert. "Just remember the first rule—"

"—always find the fun!" the crew chorused together as their screens froze.

When they reconnected twenty minutes later, they found themselves scattered across different locations in the Stanton system. What had begun as a simple exploration mission to the newly revealed areas of Onyx had turned into a classic 30KFUN adventure.

"Alright, 30KFUN squad, sound off," Captain Lena called over Discord. "Where'd everyone land this time?"

"I'm somehow back at Port Tressler," reported Max. "But hey, at least I still have the artifact in my inventory!"

"Spawned in my bed on my Carrack," said Riley, the org's navigation specialist. "And—wait, why is my ship upside down in a hangar?"

Vega laughed. "I got lucky. Still at Onyx, but my ATLS GEO powersuit is stuck in some weird T-pose. Can't move, but I've got a great view of the station!"

"Classic," Lena sighed. "Okay team, this is what we train for. Riley, see if you can QT to Onyx once you get your ship oriented. Max, grab one of the org's ships from Port Tressler—take the Daybreaker helmet and undersuit from the shared hangar, we'll need that protection when we get back into the facility."

"On it, Cap," Max replied. "Should I bring the Cutlass or the MSR?"

"Cutlass," said Lena. "We might need that medical bed the way today's going."

"Vega, I'm sending Zoe your way," Lena continued. "She's been waiting to try out the org's mentorship program and this is perfect. She can help free you from your T-pose prison."

"Roger that," Vega replied. "Tell her to bring a tractor beam. And maybe a camera—this pose is actually hilarious."

Two hours and one more server disconnect later, the 30KFUN team had reassembled at Onyx Station. Zoe, their newest recruit, marveled at how the experienced players took the game's unpredictability in stride.

"I would've rage-quit after that first disconnect," she admitted as they prepared to re-enter the sealed section. "How do you all stay so positive?"

"That's the 30KFUN way," Riley explained, checking the oxygen levels in everyone's Daybreaker suits. "The bugs are just part of the journey. Sometimes they even lead to the best adventures."

"Like that time we all got ejected from QT inside a planet's core," Max added. "Ended up discovering an unmarked jump point!"

"Or when that 30K somehow duplicated all our ships," Vega laughed. "We turned it into an impromptu racing tournament."

Captain Lena led them through the airlock into the mysterious new section of Onyx. "The artifact we recovered earlier seems to be some kind of key. According to the data Max pulled, it should unlock a hidden Quirinus Tech prototype lab."

"Speaking of which," Max said, "the artifact is giving off some strange readings. It's almost like it's... communicating with the station."

As if on cue, the lights flickered, and a hidden door slid open, revealing a laboratory untouched for years. In the center stood a prototype ATLS unit unlike any they'd seen before—sleeker, with the same gold highlights as their Daybreaker suits.

"Jackpot!" Vega exclaimed, approaching the powersuit. "This must be the experimental model mentioned in those data files we found last week."

Suddenly, security drones activated around the room, their weapons locking onto the intruders.

"Positions, everyone!" Lena commanded. "Zoe, stay behind me—I'll draw their fire. Riley, hack that terminal. Max, Vega, take the left and right flanks!"

The 30KFUN team moved with practiced precision despite the chaos. Zoe watched in amazement as they communicated with minimal words, covering each other and adapting to the situation.

"Terminal's locked down," Riley called out. "Needs a biometric override!"

"The artifact!" Max shouted over the gunfire. "Try using it as an access key!"

Riley slotted the mysterious object into the terminal. The security drones immediately powered down, and the prototype ATLS hummed to life.

"It worked!" Vega approached the powersuit cautiously. "This thing looks like it could lift a Hammerhead!"

As they examined their discovery, a rumble shook the station. Emergency lights flashed, and a computerized voice announced: "Containment breach detected. Emergency protocols activated. Station self-destruct in ten minutes."

"Of course," Lena sighed. "It wouldn't be a proper 30KFUN mission without a dramatic escape. Vega, get in that prototype—we might need its lifting capacity. Everyone else, back to the Cutlass!"

They raced through the corridors, dodging falling debris. When a collapsed beam blocked their path, Vega used the prototype ATLS to clear the way, its enhanced tractor beam making light work of the obstacle.

"Five minutes to self-destruct," the station AI reminded them cheerfully.

"We're not going to make it to the hangar in time," Riley calculated. "The fastest route is blocked by the containment doors."

"There's another way," Zoe spoke up, studying her mobiglas. "The maintenance tunnels. I noticed them on the station schematic while waiting for you all to reconnect earlier."

Lena grinned. "See? This is why we love new members. Fresh eyes. Lead the way, Zoe!"

Following Zoe's directions, they navigated the narrow maintenance tunnels, emerging just steps from their Cutlass. As they piled in, with Vega barely squeezing the prototype ATLS through the cargo doors, the station began to break apart around them.

"Thirty seconds to self-destruct."

"Cutting it close!" Max shouted from the co-pilot seat as Lena fired up the engines.

They blasted away from the station, narrowly avoiding debris as the facility exploded behind them. The shockwave caught them, sending the Cutlass tumbling through space.

When they stabilized, everyone broke into cheers and laughter.

"Now THAT was a 30KFUN adventure!" Riley exclaimed.

"And we got away with the prototype," Vega added, examining the ATLS unit. "Wait until the rest of the org sees this!"

Captain Lena turned to Zoe. "So, what did you think of your first official mission with us?"

Zoe couldn't stop grinning. "When I joined Star Citizen, everyone warned me about the bugs and crashes. Nobody mentioned they could be part of the fun."

"That's exactly what 30KFUN is all about," Lena replied. "Finding the joy in the journey, no matter how many disconnects try to stop us."

As if on cue, warning indicators flashed across their screens.

"Server disconnect in 3...2...1..."

They all groaned together, then burst into laughter as their screens froze. Another day, another adventure with 30KFUN—disconnection errors and all.
