The Scorpius Chronicles: A 30K.fun Adventure
Captain Zara Vex of the RSI Referral Code Club leaned back in her pilot's seat, admiring the sleek lines of her newly acquired RSI Scorpius. She had been eagerly awaiting this moment ever since reading about the fighter's development in the latest issue of Jump Point.
"Time to put this beauty through its paces," she muttered, firing up the engines.
As she maneuvered out of the hangar at Port Olisar, her comms crackled to life. It was her wingman, Jax, piloting an old reliable Anvil Arrow.
"Hey Cap, ready for some fun?" Jax's voice was filled with excitement. "I heard the Star Citizen Referral Code Club is hosting a carrier assault event near Crusader. Wanna join?"
Zara grinned. "You bet! Let's see what this Scorpius can do in a real fight."
As they approached the massive carrier looming in the distance, Zara couldn't help but think about the carrier history she'd read in Jump Point. From humble beginnings to these behemoths of war, they'd come a long way.
Suddenly, red warning lights flashed across her console. "Uh oh, looks like we've got a 30K incoming," Zara warned Jax.
But instead of panicking, both pilots laughed. This was what the Referral Code Club was all about – having fun despite the occasional hiccup in the persistent universe.
As the server reset, Zara found herself back at Port Olisar. She quickly sent a message to the club's chat: "Hey newbies! What Code to Use when joining? Don't forget to check out our org for the best start in the 'verse!"
With a chuckle, she climbed back into her Scorpius, ready for another adventure. After all, in The Star Citizen Referral Code Club, every 30K was just another opportunity for fun.
