This Week in Star Citizen
Happy Monday, citizens! Here's what's happening this week in the Star Citizen universe:
3.10 is now LIVE and it's been incredible watching players jump in and experience the latest update. The development team is closely monitoring feedback and working on fixes for the most pressing issues. A 3.10.1 patch is expected to hit PTU later today, which should address some of the top reported bugs and irritations.
Some key fixes planned for 3.10.1 include:
- Improving the slow streaming of locations to prevent sudden appearances or falling through the world
- Reverting changes to the Defender and updating the Singes
- Fixing delivery missions to work more consistently
- Addressing issues with the Greycat ROC's gathering beam
The team is continuing to investigate other reported problems as well. Players are encouraged to contribute to the Issue Council if they encounter any bugs.
In community news, the "Where in the 'Verse is Pico?" screenshot contest is now underway. Snap a pic of Pico the New Babbage Penguin in the craziest situation or most interesting location you can find for a chance to win some great prizes. Check out the contest thread on Spectrum for full details.
The Foundation Festival continues this week, with rewards available for completing guide sessions and helping new players. There's still time to enter the Crew Contest, and the second round of the Top Guides contest is now live. Winners for all three contests will be announced together after the festival concludes.

The Pico Delivery Dilemma
As the latest 3.10 patch went live, the members of the Star Citizen Referral Code Club found themselves caught up in an unexpected adventure. It all started when Captain Zara, a veteran pilot and long-time member of the RSI Referral Code Club, received an urgent message from a new player she had recently guided.
"Help! I can't complete my delivery mission. The package keeps disappearing!" the message read.
Intrigued, Zara decided to investigate. She hopped into her trusty Cutlass Black and set a course for New Babbage. Upon arrival, she was greeted by a peculiar sight – dozens of Pico the Penguin plushies floating aimlessly in space around the spaceport.
Realizing this was related to the ongoing "Where in the 'Verse is Pico?" contest, Zara commed her fellow club members. "Looks like we've got a situation here. Any ideas on what code to use to fix this Pico problem?"
As they brainstormed solutions, more reports flooded in about missing delivery packages and rogue Picos across Stanton. The Referral Code Club members sprang into action, determined to help both new and experienced players navigate this adorable but chaotic bug.
Zara and her team spent the next few hours zipping across the system in their ships, scooping up wayward Picos and reuniting them with their rightful owners. Along the way, they encountered new players struggling with the game's quirks and took the opportunity to offer guidance and support.
As the day drew to a close, the club gathered at Grim HEX to swap stories and share a laugh over their Pico-catching adventures. Despite the frustrations of bugs and glitches, they found joy in the unexpected chaos and the bonds formed while helping others.
