Ship Showdown 2024: Top 16 Contenders and Free Fly Event
The annual Ship Showdown event has returned to the Star Citizen universe, bringing with it fierce competition and a chance for pilots to test-fly some of the most popular ships in the 'verse. After carefully reviewing thousands of creative submissions and analyzing extensive gameplay data, the Top 16 ships have been selected to face off in daily head-to-head matchups.
Each day, two ships will go head-to-head in the Live Showdown, with only one advancing to the next round. The fate of these ships rests in the hands of the Star Citizen community, as daily votes determine which vessels will progress through the tournament.
To give everyone a chance to experience these exceptional ships firsthand, Cloud Imperium Games is hosting a Free Fly event running until August 22. During this period, all 16 finalist ships are available to fly at no cost. This presents a perfect opportunity for new and veteran pilots alike to test out different ships and find their favorites.
