As the Star Citizen universe continues to expand, June 2025 brings exciting new opportunities for subscribers to enhance their gameplay experience. With the impending release of Alpha 4.2, this month's promotions focus on equipping players for dangerous adventures and immersive storytelling.

Vehicle of the Month

All subscribers will have the chance to pilot the rugged Drake Cutlass Steel dropship throughout June. This versatile vessel is designed to transport up to 18 soldiers and 3 crew members, making it the ideal choice for getting into the heart of the action. The Cutlass Steel comes equipped with a variety of small arms, perfect for confronting the challenges that lie ahead in Alpha 4.2.

Imperator subscribers receive an additional perk this month, gaining access to the formidable Anvil Valkyrie. This heavy-hitting troop transport can carry 20 troops, cargo, and even a ground vehicle, all while boasting impressive defensive capabilities. The Valkyrie is built to brave the most hostile warzones, ensuring your team arrives safely at their destination.

Both vehicles are available for subscribers to fly in-game throughout June, allowing players to test their capabilities before considering a purchase. Those who decide to add these ships to their fleet can do so with extended insurance options.

Exclusive Subscriber Flair

This month's flair items are themed around the upcoming Alpha 4.2 patch, offering subscribers unique ways to showcase their involvement in the latest Star Citizen developments.

ASD Bomber Jacket

Centurion-level subscribers will receive the ASD Bomber Jacket, a stylish piece of apparel originally exclusive to workers in the Biological Research Division of ASD. This synthetic leather jacket boasts the authentic look, feel, and even smell of real leather, featuring the company's logo prominently on both the front and back.

Irradiated Valakkar Diorama

Imperator-level subscribers will receive both the ASD Bomber Jacket and the Irradiated Valakkar Diorama. This decorative hangar item showcases a valakkar bursting from the ground, having been irradiated by the toxic storms of Pyro I. It's a perfect conversation piece to commemorate your adventures in the upcoming patch.

Both flair items will be delivered to eligible subscribers in an upcoming patch, adding to the growing collection of unique Star Citizen memorabilia.

Subscriber Store Updates

The Subscriber Store continues to offer a vast array of previous flair items, dating back to 2014. This allows both new and long-time subscribers to fill gaps in their collections or acquire extras to gift to non-subscribers. The store is accessible through the My Hangar section of subscribers' RSI profiles.

Subscribers can take advantage of continuous discounts in the Merchandise Store. Centurion Subscribers enjoy a 10% discount, while Imperator Subscribers receive a 15% discount on all merchandise. Valakkar's Vengeance: The 30KFUN Expedition

"Server instability detected. Quantum network degradation at sixty percent and rising."

Captain Ryker grimaced as the AI warning echoed through the bridge of his Anvil Valkyrie. The holographic display flickered ominously, showing the telltale signs of an impending 30K disconnect.

"Not now, not when we're so close," he muttered, glancing at the five ships in formation around him. Each vessel carried members of the 30KFUN community, veterans and newcomers alike, all part of today's expedition into the newly released Pyro system.

"Hey Cap, we getting the wobbles again?" Astrid's voice crackled through the comms. The newest member of their community piloted a borrowed Cutlass Steel, her first time handling the dropship.

"Affirmative," Ryker replied. "Everyone, standard 30K protocols. Form up tight, engines to minimum, and prep emergency quantum markers."

This wasn't their first rodeo. The 30KFUN community had weathered countless disconnections over the years, turning what could be frustrating experiences into opportunities for camaraderie and problem-solving.

"Newbies, this is why we always meet at a rally point before missions," came Dex's calm voice. As one of 30KFUN's veteran mentors, he had guided dozens of players through their first 30K experiences. "If we disconnect, we reconvene at Pyro Station. Remember to check the community discord for updates."

The ships tightened formation as they approached Pyro I, the toxic planet's swirling storms visible even from orbit. Their mission: to recover samples of the irradiated Valakkar species that had recently been discovered thriving in the planet's hostile environment.

"I still can't believe we're doing this just for a diorama," chuckled Wei, piloting a sleek Origin 400i loaded with scientific equipment.

"Hey, that Irradiated Valakkar Diorama is this month's subscriber flair," Malik responded from his Mercury Star Runner. "Besides, 30KFUN's guide to the new creature spawns needs screenshots. The text-to-speech users in our community deserve to know what they're hunting too."

As they began their descent toward the planet's surface, the ships' systems flickered more severely. The quantum network degradation warning increased to eighty percent.

"It's going to happen," Ryker announced. "Everyone, prep for emergency landing procedures. Astrid, stick close to me—I'll guide you down."

"I—I don't think I can land this thing in these conditions," Astrid's voice wavered with uncertainty.

"You've got this," Dex encouraged. "Remember the landing tutorial we practiced yesterday? Just follow the steps in our guide. We're right here with you."

The fleet pushed through Pyro I's upper atmosphere, the toxic storms battering their shields. Just as they broke through the cloud layer, every ship's system simultaneously flashed red.

"30K imminent! Brace for—"

The universe froze, then blinked out of existence.

Four hours later, most of the 30KFUN expedition had reassembled at Pyro Station. Ryker, Dex, and Wei had managed to rejoin quickly, while Malik had encountered a persistent character reset bug that the others had helped him troubleshoot through their discord.

Only Astrid remained missing.

"Still no contact?" Ryker asked, checking his mobi-glass for the hundredth time.

"Nothing," Wei confirmed. "Her discord shows she's online, but no response."

"She might be stuck in the landing loop," Dex suggested. "First time it happened to me, took three hours to realize I could force quit."

Just as they were discussing a search plan, Astrid's voice burst through their comms.

"30KFUN team, do you copy? I need immediate assistance!"

"Astrid! We've been trying to reach you," Ryker responded. "What's your situation?"

"I'm on Pyro I's surface! The 30K somehow... completed my landing? But I'm surrounded by Valakkars, and they're not happy about visitors!"

The team exchanged glances of disbelief.

"That's impossible," Malik muttered. "The 30K should have reset her position."

"Well, bug or feature, she needs help," Ryker decided. "30KFUN, suit up! We've got a community member to rescue and some Valakkars to document."

Within minutes, the four ships were racing toward Pyro I, following Astrid's beacon. As they approached, they spotted her Cutlass Steel perched precariously on a rocky outcrop, surrounded by what appeared to be dozens of writhing, irradiated creatures.

"Those are definitely not in the bestiary yet," Wei commented, snapping screenshots for their community guides.

"Astrid, we're approaching your position," Ryker announced. "Dex and I will land and provide ground support. Wei, maintain air superiority. Malik, keep that Star Runner ready for a quick extraction."

As the Valkyrie touched down, Ryker and Dex charged out in their ASD environmental suits, weapons drawn. The creatures—resembling massive serpents with bioluminescent spines—hissed and retreated temporarily from the ship's engines.

"Astrid! Make a run for it!" Dex called.

The rookie pilot sprinted from her ship, dodging between the creatures with surprising agility.

"I may have, um, aggravated them by taking samples," she panted, holding up a containment unit. "The science terminal said they were valuable!"

"You actually completed part of the mission solo?" Ryker laughed, providing covering fire as they retreated. "That's the 30KFUN spirit!"

As they reached the Valkyrie's ramp, the largest Valakkar—nearly twice the size of the others—burst from beneath the surface directly in their path. Its irradiated spines glowed menacingly as it reared up.

"That's... not supposed to be in the game yet," Malik's voice came through their comms. "That's the alpha Valakkar from the unreleased diorama model!"

"Well, it's definitely in the game now," Dex replied, raising his weapon. "And it looks angry about being turned into desk decoration."

The creature lunged, but the three adventurers rolled in different directions, their practiced coordination evident even in this unexpected situation. Wei's 400i swooped low, its mining laser cutting a line between the Valakkar and the team.

"Get to the ship!" Wei called. "I'm reading quantum instability again—another 30K might be coming!"

They made a final dash for the Valkyrie, the alpha Valakkar in hot pursuit. Just as they cleared the ramp, Ryker slammed the close button and Dex jumped into the co-pilot seat.

"Everyone hold on!" Ryker shouted, gunning the engines. The Valkyrie lurched upward, the alpha Valakkar's strike missing by inches.

As they ascended through the atmosphere, joined by Wei's 400i and Malik's Star Runner, their comms filled with laughter and excited recounting of the encounter.

"Wait until the community sees these screenshots," Astrid said, reviewing the images she'd captured. "The screen reader descriptions are going to need some creative writing."

"That's what 30KFUN is all about," Ryker replied with a smile. "Facing the unexpected together, helping each other through, and making sure everyone gets to enjoy the adventure—30Ks and all."

As if on cue, the quantum instability warning flashed again.

"Here we go again," Dex chuckled. "Same rally point after the disconnect?"

"Always," Ryker confirmed as the universe began to freeze around them. "Because with 30KFUN, the adventure never really stops—it just reloads."

The ships blinked out of existence once more, but this time, not a single pilot was frustrated. They'd be back, together, ready for whatever bugs and features the universe threw at them next.
