Happy Monday, citizens! Let's take a look at what's happening in the Star Citizen universe this week.
Ongoing Events and Contests
The floating city of Orison opened its doors in Alpha 3.14, and players have been enjoying exploring this stunning new location. If you've captured any impressive screenshots of Orison or Crusader, be sure to enter them in the ongoing Wish You Were Here Greeting Card Contest. The submission period ends on August 18th at 11:59 PM Pacific, so get your entries in soon!
There's also still time to participate in the Constellation Coloring Contest. Create your own themed Constellation Taurus design for a chance to win one of these versatile cargo haulers. Entries are due by August 20th.
For the cosplayers out there, the 2021 Star Citizen Cosplay Contest is still accepting submissions until October 9th. Winners will be announced at Digital CitizenCon. Group submissions are allowed, so team up with your fellow citizens to create something amazing!
In-Game Events
The Ninetails pirate clan is causing trouble in the Stanton system, attempting to cut off rest stops from vital medical supplies. Players can choose to defend the system or join the Ninetails for some high-stakes criminal action.

The Orison Greeting Card Caper
Captain Jax of the 30K.fun Star Citizen Referral Code Club leaned back in his chair, admiring the stunning vista of Orison through the viewport of his Constellation Taurus. He and his crew had come to Crusader's floating city to participate in the "Wish You Were Here" greeting card contest.
"Alright team, we need the perfect shot to win this thing," Jax announced. "Any ideas?"
His first mate, Zara, piped up. "What about capturing the Crusader showroom with some fancy ships in the foreground?"
"Too obvious," Jax replied. "We need something unique that really showcases what the RSI Referral Code Club is all about - having fun despite the bugs!"
Just then, their comms crackled to life. It was their buddy Lars, piloting a Cutlass nearby. "Guys, you won't believe this. I just got a 30K error and now my ship is doing backflips through the clouds!"
Jax's eyes lit up. "That's it! Quick, everyone to the observation deck. We're going to capture Lars' glitchy ship with Orison in the background. It'll be the perfect representation of what code to use when you want to have a good time in Star Citizen!"
The crew rushed to position, cameras at the ready. As Lars' Cutlass pirouetted past in a dazzling display of physics-defying acrobatics, they snapped away, capturing the essence of the Star Citizen Referral Code Club - embracing the chaos and finding joy in the unexpected.
"Perfect!" Jax exclaimed, reviewing the shots. "This greeting card will show everyone that with the right attitude - and the right referral code - even a 30K can lead to an unforgettable adventure in the 'verse!"
